Checking In & Yosemite Tips
We apologize so much for being so quiet for a long time. Life, you know. Summer schools, jobs, and family trips. A lot has happened already, and a lot will be happening. But we'll do better in posting more stuff. For now, here's a pretty waterfall, Yosemite falls.
And here are some quick tips about visiting Yosemite National Park.
And here are some quick tips about visiting Yosemite National Park.
- Stay at least 2 days/nights. There are so much to see and do!
- Stay within the park. Staying outside costs time and gas, and parking is not guaranteed. We recommend Curry Village!
- Stay hydrated, especially when hiking to any of the falls.
- On that note, don't push yourself if you're not used to rigorous exercise. And some of the hikes are rigorous.
- Walking sticks do help.
- Make use of the free shuttle. They come often enough (usually every 5 minutes) and the drivers are very helpful.
- Food is expensive, be aware.
- Lots and lots of sunblock.
- Visit Sentinel bridge in the late afternoon. When the sun is setting, the light hits Half Dome in just the perfect angle that snatches your breath away.
- Stop and enjoy the views. They're amazing!
